Story
In a quiet part of India, MLA Thirumala Naidu (Ravi Kishan) secretly grows cocaine on the tea estate owned by Krishna Murthy (Sachin Khedekar). When Krishna Murthy finds out about it, he confronts the MLA and warns him to stop his illegal business. Around this time, Nanaji (Balakrishna) joins Krishna Murthy’s household as a simple driver.
He looks after Krishna Murthy’s granddaughter, Vaishnavi (Veda Agarwal), and protects the family from trouble. Soon, it becomes clear that Nanaji is not an ordinary man — he stands strong against the MLA and the Thakur family, who are involved in the drug trade.
Meanwhile, the Maharashtra police are searching for Nanaji. But who is he really? What is his past? Why are the police after him? What secrets is he hiding? Did he once have a family? How is Balawanth Singh Thakur (Bobby Deol) connected to it all? And finally, who is Daaku Maharaaj? The film slowly reveals the answers to all these questions.

Final Review
Overall, Daaku Maharaaj is a fairly entertaining action drama, even though the story follows a predictable path. Director Bobby Kolli presents Balakrishna in a stylish and powerful way that fans will enjoy. The action scenes are well-designed, and the emotional moments hit the right notes. On the downside, the predictable storyline, weak character development, and a slightly slow second half hold the film back from being truly impactful. Still, Daaku Maharaaj manages to keep you engaged and is worth a watch for its blend of action, emotion, and Balayya’s strong screen presence.
